Actually, Desperado, Shogun didn't reactivate it. Not to discredit him, but I believe all other admins were stripped of their abilities. I only kept mine because I'm the founder of the site.
And as you can now tell, I re-activated my account after it got hacked...Which I went through a lot of trouble for getting, since he hacked my email as well (and I need it to reset the password).
Luckily, N1nja helped out and found the password, and some interesting information on the hacker. (Its not a lot, but hey what the heck, better then nothin)
Alright well updates for now:
The hacker lives in NEVADA, of all places. We know that much. (I know, I know, people don't really live there. But apparently this guy does.)
Our forums have been deleted (Captain OBVIOUS, AWAAAAY!)...but seriously, some of us thought he just hid them or something before, but I'm here to tell y'all that they are all gone for sure.
I don't know why it says we still have posts, but I even managed to use the restore backup function, and now all you see is all we have. A few rules forums, and this. Most, if not all, discussion forums are nonexistent at this point.

But if it's not DoG related, then judging from the stuff he did and the way he did it, it could also...well, be someone from EF times. Only other explanation I can find, and lemme tell ya, scared as heck if I'm right.

If anyone else has theories, lemme know, I'm interested in hearing them.
So in conclusion it looks like pretty soon I'll have to re-make the site...if something else doesn't come up soon. I'll keep y'all updated on all I find out.

P.S.-Sorry I couldn't be on Saturday like I said, but I tried. It seems my modem actually sputters out around 7ish, and I was gonna do late night gaming.
Imma try to get on soon on normal times, but whenever I do that nobody is on, so y'all might not see me anyways but hey just try to check in every hour or so and there's a good chance you'll see me at some point.

Before we get to work and start posting stuff like the Forge team, we should probably handle this hacker situation. I don't know how to build up some sort of defense or firewall or whatever for this site, so I can't really be of much use there.

However, I did hear a rumor that a guy in DoG might've done this because we "stole their members."
This is odd, because we didn't actually "steal" any members. Those of us(myself included) who were "stolen" had left RM when it broke down and joined DoG. Then, when RM starts coming back, we just came back to reform it, too. If this rumor is true, then wtf. I remember signing on DoG for a community that respected gamers and was trying to create a good place to play. Hell, I even memorized a speech that said all of that. If this rumor is true, it would be epicly shitty of them, or at least this one guy.
Of course, it's only a rumor. I'm not actually accusing DoG of anything, just stating and forming my opinion on what I heard. I was even given a full name of the guy who supposedly did it, but I can't remember it.

We were basically hacked. The forums were deleted(sort of), and the box that pops up at the portal asking you to log in or join instead said "Go die." It never popped up for me, but it was for mostly everyone else.

In a nutshell, yes. But as I said earlier, if its NOT DoG, then the next most likely case is somebody from EF times (3-5 years back). Unfortunately this seems to be the case considering what I saw in the admin panel.
Now, if you don't understand WHY that is REALLY BAD, then go ask me or Oto what it means next time one of us is on.

Oh and btw Rufus, Megaton, and Zach can has Admin now.
