Mass Effect 2!

I don't know if anybody else has been following this game, but the first one was rapetacular.

So anyway, discuss.


Personally, I think it's epic that they brought back Tali and gave her a new badass backstory. There's one confirmed character from the first game who's going to be joining up in the sequel.

I heart Mass Effect. Apparently there's a new race that's dog-like? I haven't seen the trailor, but I've heard about it.
I've also heard a rumor that if you make a new character, you have an option of choosing between races. This is probably just speculation though.
I'm gonna import my Shepard anyway, and hope he doesn't die.

Also, Desperado, they confirmed that any character that survives the first game will be imported into your game for the second one.
This leads me to believe that the Mass Effect series is way ahead of its time. The fact that everyone's game will be unique.

I personally don't want the option to change race, it's a huge part of the game and Shepard's character, him being part of the Alliance fleet and the first human Spectre.

I wonder what's going to be in store, though. With a new character, I wonder if you'll be choosing one of the endings from the first game and stuff like that.
And this idea of everyone's game being unique is something different. People have tried to make everyone's game experience unique but this is going to pull it off in a simple way that probably hasn't already been attempted.

The graphics are really awesome, some of the best that I've seen on the 360. It's a technically 360 exclusive with graphics that are on par with a lot of PS3 games that brag about their graphics. I love this. The graphics improvements help show that Bioware isn't just half-assing it. Then again, it's Bioware, so I wasn't even worried about them half-assing it to begin with.

AAAAND... Characters that are confirmed to reappear that I've seen so far are Tali, Wrex and Joker. I'm hoping Wrex makes an appearance if you convinced him in the first game. He was a really awesome guy.

I think it would also be interesting to have a story backing the other Council Races, like the Turians or Asari. Just to offer more background.
But I agree, I love it when humanity is seen as an inferior race, it takes away our god-complex.

Hopefully there's a new vehicle with new controls. I hated the damn Mako.

Holy cow. Don't even get me started on mass effect.
I know I'm famous for making a page long post on almost anything, but on ME I could make one that is longer than most books with no problem. (Me and me Jessie's favorite game to play)

They haven't announced new vehicles last I checked, but they did say they were making major changes to the mako, so I'm looking forward to that.
New races would be interesting, but I think they should also have a lot more couples options (besides options for Shepard or whoever you play, I think it would be cool for your squad-mates to have the ability to get together depending on your conversations with them and how often they work together in your field-squad)

But so far my new favorite characters are Thane, and that hardcore chick...I forget her name though.
In any case, you would recognize her from her sheer hardcoreness anyways.

The chick is Subject One.

I'm personally really glad to have Tali and Garrus back. Tali was one of my favorite characters, and she also explained the Quarians very well. The Quarians were a huge culture compared to all of the other races, with a full out history, culture, ethics, and they were much more interesting to learn about than the other races.
Also, I liked the Mako, BUT IT WAS THE ONLY VEHICLE IN THE GAME. FOR REAL.
And Garrus was cool. It'll be awesome having him back
But I loved the story, shooting, and alien side-boob of Mass Effect. Here's hoping that Mass Effect 2 will be just as good(which it obviously will be).

I got this game, played it all day yesterday.

It will rock your [Censored] socks.

one of the many beauties of this amazing game is that if i were to lose xbl right now, i'd still be able to have just as much fun playing it.
